Cupcake Mania is an app that combines the fun of puzzles and point-winning, with the world of cupcakes and other colourful desserts. The aim of the game is to match and collect cupcakes, macarons, donuts, and other pastries to progress through the many levels, while overcoming new challenges and acquiring boosts and bonuses along the way.

There are more than 400 levels of puzzles to get through, with each level presenting new tasks and challenges. Each pastry dessert in the puzzles has its own colour, whether it's a cupcake, donut, cake slice, or macaron. Points are scored based on what cupcakes and pastries need to be collected and the number of moves you make to collect them.

One of the challenges constantly encountered in the game is Bruno the Bear, who is intent on eating all the cupcakes and pastries, and your job is also to protect those pastries from him when he gets in the way. Heidi the Cupcake Guru is your constant companion as you complete the challenges and progress through the various levels.

With each puzzle challenge, players not only collect cupcakes and accumulate points, but also earn boosts such as Oven Mitt and CupQuake, which can be used in the next levels to gain even higher scores. Huge bonuses can be earned as well, by creating your own big matches with pieces like Sprinkle Shock and Sugar Rush, leading to bonuses upon completing the challenges. Players can compete with their friends by connecting through Facebook to see who scores the highest with each level.

Cupcake Mania was created by the makers of Jewel Mania and Bubble Mania as a new and different version of the Match-3 game. It is a customised app for use on Android phones and tablets. The app is free for users to download and play, along with free updates for new and additional features such as new pastries, challenges and levels. In-app purchases can also be made if you want to instantly earn boosts and other bonuses, but this feature can be disabled through the settings feature on the app if you wish.
